Description
We produce boxes and cases in taut, white-gray, kraft-backed cardboard, normally used to contain vegetable, legume, rose and turf seeds in small quantities.
Instead, we switch to laminated boxes for lawn lines as early as 500 g or for 1-kg or 2-kg packages in the case of fertilizers, fertilizers and fungicides.
The choice of the type of box to be produced clearly comes down to certain objectives one wants to achieve, and the use to be made of it.
Coupled
- Definitely greater durability;
- Greater perceived value to the buyer, both of the packaging and the product;
- Ability to make larger boxes while still maintaining stability;
Rigid
- Definitely the cheapest, mainly because of the lower cost of the material and the (important) non-incidence of the cost of lamination;
- For weights up to 1 kg, a stretched cardboard box may be sufficient although, with seeds that “swell a lot,” it may span;
- Shorter production times are to be preferred. In fact, the laminating stage normally needs a few more days.
