Produced entirely using raw materials from renewable sources handled responsibly, BIOPACK uses a vegetable base biopolymer for the internal barrier which is totally biodegradable and compostable in compliance with European standard EN 13432. 

The BIOPACK packet once used can however be sent to a normal paper recycling plants instead of a tip or incinerator. In this way we recover valuable resources, we reduce the production of refuse and slow down the rate of deforestation. Even if lost accidentally in the environment, BIOPACK respects nature as it is practically without compounds originating in petroleum. The completely biodegradable vegetable plastic, the pure cellulose paper and the oil-free inks without
cobalt constitute a low eco-toxic complex which degrades quickly without leaving a trace if exposed to the atmosphere.
