Plant markers, plant labels, stakes or whatever you want to call them.

A small product with a great result; it communicates, marks, explains and illustrates.

Plant markers, plant labels, stakes or whatever you want to call them.

The markers and stakes of LitoBM are an excellent extra which clients will appreciate.
They are particularly suitable for:

  • introducing your brand and your products;
  • greater traceability of the various plants thanks to the optional bar code;
  • easy recognition of the variety
  • giving an idea of the appearance of the product once it is "ready".

The labelling of plants using these articles is by now considered a standard procedure by the more serious and prestigious companies in the horticultural, floricultural and nursery garden sector in Italy and Europe. These special labels, called markers or stakes, are extremely resistant to atmospheric agents such as the cold, heat, humidity and sunlight and their resistance depends on the material used and other variables.
A good stake must have appealing graphics to attract the attention to the plant its describes, without forgetting however that its main function is to inform customers about the characteristics of the plants. For this reason, and in addition to pictures, the company logo and any slogans, one should not forget to state clearly all the information necessary for good conservation of the plant.
Besides the photo of the plant the following should be shown:

  • The name of the variety, if possible including the botanical name of the species in Latin;
  • a brief description of the plant’s characteristics (height, diameter, average size, …);
  • its use (cut flowers, balcony, rock garden, etc);
  • the soil in which to plant it (acidic, sandy, etc);
  • time for maturing or flowering;
  • exposure to light necessary (or shade);
  • watering requirement;
  • the right month or season for planting;
  • the depth below ground level in which to plant it;
  • the distance necessary between rows;
  • the bar codes and/or matrix data, QRcode;
  • the special notes, for example if it is sensitive to cold or heat.

This description can be given by means of a text or Pictograms. Using these stakes in your plants on sale not only helps the customer to understand what type of plant is being bought but also favours well-informed purchasing and helps to increase sales.
